Brian holds an honours degree (BENG) in Building Services Engineering graduating in 2007 from Dublin Institute of Technology, Brian is a chartered Engineer & an ITC level 2 thermographer. He has direct responsibility for compliance, testing activities & leading a vastly experienced management team within BET. Brian has built a diverse management team operating in many sectors & was responsible for rapidly growing BET from 1 accredited testing services in 2008 to more than 30 accredited testing services over many disciplines by 2019. He has presented various technical papers on building defect analysis, thermal performance and related issues at conferences exhibitions and on behalf of many professional institutions in Ireland. Brian is mainly based in BET’s head office in Ireland but travels internationally for business growth & development connecting with phenna senior management.

Tommy is the Operations Director of Building Envelope Technologies Ltd. He joined the sales department in 2014 & since he has managed the sales/procurement department & logistics of managing BET’s site staff to become operations director within the company. Tommy brings over 15 years’ experience in the sales & operations sector to his current role in BET. As group Operations Director Tommy has responsibility for the day to day running of all BET departments & has direct responsibility of the sales & tendering department ensuring deadlines & quality are met. Tommy has procured & managed BET’s services on several large (€80m – €100m) commercial & residential projects.

Gavin has recently been appointed Technical Director at Building Envelope Technologies. He is in charge of all reporting & certification throughout all departments in the company. He joined in 2013 as an airtightness testing engineer and became a Level 1 Thermographer in 2016. Gavin holds an honours degree in Structural Engineering from Dublin Institute of Technology. Gavin is also responsible for Residential and Commercial building Airtightness Services has full responsibility for the successful running of the airtightness department from our testing activities, job organization, equipment calibration, employee needs and client satisfaction. Gavin has direct responsibility ensuring quality- compliance of our airtightness testing activities in strict accordance with our ISO 17025 INAB accredited quality management system and procedures.

QUALITY & HR MANAGER
Audrey is the Quality Manager of Building Envelope Technologies Ltd. She joined the company in 2008 and took on the Role of Quality Manager in 2010. BET operates a Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 17025 so Audrey’s role as Quality Manager keeps the ethical integrity of the company intact through policy enforcement and program planning. She makes sure all departments within BET are complying with the rules and regulations the company upholds. This involves BET meeting customer requirements, which helps to instill confidence in the organization, in turn leading to more customers, more sales and more repeat business. She also works at meeting the organizations requirements which ensure compliance with regulation and provision of services in the most cost and resource efficient manner, creating room for expansion growth and profit. The benefits of a Quality Management System include helping to produce consistent results, preventing mistakes, reducing costs, ensuring that processes are defined and controlled and continually improving the organizations performance.

David is the group’s Financial Controller with over 25 years’ experience; David manages & improves the organisation’s financial performance and directs our accounting operations. Duties for David include managing accounting records, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, analysing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue, coordinating auditing processes, and ensuring accuracy of financial information.

CONTRACTS MANAGER – (LAB & FAÇADE TESTING)
Colm Coogan joined in 2015 as a Test Engineer & since then he has become contracts manager in the company having the overall responsibility for all Façade and Water Testing both onsite and in our Laboratory. Colm holds an honours degree in Civil Engineering. Colm as contracts Manager for onsite façade and Laboratory Testing has full responsibility for the successful running of all our onsite and laboratory façade testing activities. Colm works alongside our operations manager & managing director to ensure quality- compliance of our testing activities is in strict accordance with our ISO 17025 INAB accredited quality management system and procedures. Colm has gained a broad engineering experience through working with a main contractor and engineering consultancy firm in Ireland, Canada and Australia before joining Building Envelope Technologies in 2015.

Damian joined BET in 2015 as a Project Manager. Damian holds an honour’s degree in Engineering from Dundalk Institute of Technology. Damian as Project Manager and Technical Manager (Acoustics) has full accountability for the successful running of the acoustic department of BET this includes; testing activities, consultancy, compliance audits and technical support. Damian has direct responsibility ensuring quality- compliance of our Acoustic testing activities in strict accordance with our ISO 17025 accredited quality management system and procedures. Damian has presented on Acoustic Testing, Inspections & Certification and related issues at conferences and at professional associations along with developers, building contractors and architectural practices. Damian is a member of the Institute of Acoustics & is registered on the SITRI scheme here in Ireland.

CONTRACTS MANAGER – (SUSTAINABILITY, BER & NZEB COMPLIANCE)
Terry is the contracts manager within the Building Envelope Technologies Sustainability Department. He joined in 2017 to spearhead this newly created department. Terry holds an honours degree in Building Services Engineering and has over 10 years’ experience in the construction industry working in project engineering and renewable technologies. Terry as Sustainability contracts Manager has responsibility for the successful running of all the Sustainability department’s activities which include Building Energy Ratings, Part L Compliance, NZEB compliance, Thermal Modelling of Building Envelopes and Thermal Bridges. Terry has responsibility for ensuring quality- compliance in accordance with our ISO 17025 INAB accredited quality management system and procedures. Terry has worked at every level of the construction industry from sustainable energy retrofits to large scale construction projects with multinational clients and brings both technical knowledge and management experience to your project.

Key Account Manager
Brendan joined Building Envelope Technologies in 2018 as a Key Account Manager. Brendan’s role involves liaising with BET contracts manager(s)s in each department to ensure all accounts and clients are receiving the highest level of service, generating all sales reports and distributing them to various departments. Brendan’s responsibilities include managing the central database of current and potential clients, creating new and repeat business through building strong relationships with new and existing customers as well as dealing with all estimating and tender enquires that come in from various contractors.

Key Account Manager
Tanya has been with Building Envelope Technologies since 2016. Tanya is based in our Northern Ireland office. Tanya is responsible for handling key accounts, maintaining a long-term relationship with accounts and maximising sales opportunities within them. Tanya is an initial costumer liaison – ensuring that BET’s quality image is maintained, issuing of quotations and proposals for new works and tracking of same. Tanya works with Brendan & Tommy on business development & is also involved in maintaining the central database of tracked jobs and relevant contacts updated.

Denis joined Building Envelope Technologies in 2013 as a Test Engineer for onsite Air Tightness Testing, CWCT Water testing & LAB testing and has now progressed to Technical Manager. Denis’s role involves looking after BET’s Technical Department with all calculations & reporting for testing carried out & making sure that all reports comply with BET’s quality procedures. Denis’s responsibilities include managing the Technical Department & over seeing that all the engineers on site have the correct information to carry out testing.

Deputy Technical Manager
Ross’s responsibilities include liaising with each department within BET which ultimately includes assisting the managing of the Technical Department to ensure all of the test engineers on site or in the laboratory have the correct information to carry out testing. Ross has direct responsibility for the “software development & maintenance” within the BET group. Ross is exceptionally experienced in his field within BET.
