We were engaged as specialist airtightness consultants to carry out site audits of the ongoing works, review of details, complex junctions, full ITC Level 2 building thermographic survey and the FINAL ISO 17025 INAB Accredited airtightness. The speed of construction, complexity of the building and size of the project resulted in 1 x monthly inspection intervals and regular workshops with the site team which enabled the building fulfil its specification of < 0.60 (m3/hr) /m3 @ 50Pa. Moynalthy & Powerscourt are significant as they were the first schools in Ireland to achieve passive airtightness requirements.
