BET were initially employed as specialist consultants  to review the external envelope work packages and advise the design team before construction commenced. We were subsequently engaged  to carry out site audits of the ongoing works, working closely with their airtightness supervisor/foreman on site. The speed of construction, complexity of the building and size of the project resulted in 1 x monthly inspection intervals.

We were appointed as the specialist airtightness experts to also carry out the airtightness testing to the 90 isolation rooms, INAB Accredited testing & a full ITC Level 2 building thermographic survey on completion.

New facilities will include the following: New Accident & Emergency Department, New Outpatients Department, 12 new Theatres and ICU/HDU Departments, New Radiology Department, 120 Replacement Beds, 100% of which will be single rooms, Expansion space with capacity for 70 single rooms, New CSSD, Catering and Waste Management Departments,New Energy Centre

The scale of the project is 45,685m2 with a 20,000 m2 basement. (Design & Build Project)
