Using a high performance curtain walling system and fully air conditioned the extremely onerous airtightness performance targets set by the design team for the new office buildings at Simmons Court initially raised some eyebrows! With the designers targets in mind BET provided tailored specialist training to the construction team at the start of the project on site.

A rigorous quality control regime operated by Walls during construction resulted in the targets not only being met but exceeded. BET completed the whole building airtightness test and carried out a detailed thermographic survey on the completed building.
